The Yellow Door

"So then I took my turn
Oh what a thing to have done
And it was all yellow..."

- Coldplay

Any colour could look better when they reflect happiness. Creating a dramatic entryway, the Yellow Door House fashioned the choice of a warm, earthy palette of browns and creams for the upholstery and decor pieces that recalls the warmth of sand at the seashore. The handcrafted jute carpet, clay pots, and cane wall art continue the seaside theme.

Natasha says, "We believe that even if a house is a reflection of the owner’s personal taste, the living room being a public space in the house ought to be neutral and welcoming to all. It should make everyone feel welcome. So we added warmth with the help of cozy nooks."

NThe Yellow Door Project is chromatically inspired by the aquatic vigor of Greece. This penthouse offers a blue and white color scheme that gives us major vacation feels. The interiors incorporate even parity and concordance to make a feeling of comfort and unwinding. Our team thoroughly enjoyed working on this project. Safeguarding sustainability, we reused leftover materials from construction and upcycled back into the home.
